KVS Principal Syllabus 2025 and New Exam Pattern

As per the official notification of the KVS recruitment, there are 134 posts in the Principal Posts. This is a good opportunity for those candidates who want to become principals in the KVS schools all over India. But this is not as easy an exam as we think. This post requires more responsibilities and dedication. If you want to crack this exam with good marks, you must have detailed information about the syllabus and exam pattern.

In the KVS Principal Posts, there would be three stages: one is the common as usual for all KVS posts, 2nd is the subject-oriented stage that contains 100 marks, and 3rd stage is the Interview stage that is mandatory for everyone.

KVS Principal Exam Pattern 2025

Before understanding the Syllabus of the KVS Principal post, you must know about the latest exam pattern and topics from where questions will be asked. Tier -1 is a qualifying, OMR-based objective test conducted for all applicants. The exam carries 100 questions, each worth 3 marks, making the total 300 marks. In this 1 mark from be negative if you mark any wrong. There would be 2 hrs time to complete the question and give the answer under the time frame.

KVS Principal Tier-2 Exam Pattern 2025

Tier-2  will be conducted based on the Subject Knowledge Examination (combination of Pen-Paper and OMR-based) as per the details mentioned below. The exam duration will be 2.30 hours for the entire paper. This would be the major role to crack the principal exam in the first effort. So give more time to these topics and their related facts.
