PSSSB Exam Pattern 2026

The exam pattern of the written exam for PSSSB Excise Inspector Recruitment 2026 is shared below:

• This objective test will have multiple-choice questions.
• It is broken into two sections: Part A (Punjabi language paper) and Part B (subject-specific questions).
• Part A is qualifying in nature, requiring a minimum of 50%.
• Part B determines the merit list. 
• Candidates must choose one of two optional subjects for language proficiency: Punjabi or English.
• Candidates have two hours (2 hours) to finish the test, with the option of picking Punjabi or English as their language of expertise.
• The written paper will carry 100 marks.
