SSC CGL Salary 2026 Allowances

SSC CGL House Rent Allowance:

• Cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Pune are classed as Group X and would receive 24% of HRA, excluding basic pay.
• Group Y, which contains 100 towns with a population of 5 lakhs, will receive 16% of the HRA.
• while rural communities in Group Z will receive 8%.

Travelling Allowance:

• The selected applicants for group X cities would be granted Rs 3600 in transportation allowances, while the other two would be given Rs 1800 to compensate for their trip to cities.

Medical Allowance:

The government will compensate the employee or their family for all medical expenditures incurred during treatment once the employee claims them.

Special Security Allowance:

• If the candidate works for a special organization, such as the CBI, IB, or any security agency,
• They will receive an additional 20% of their basic pay as Special Security Allowance (SSA) in their gross pay.
