Candidates who have cleared the prelims exam are now one step closer to get selected in the SBI. Candidates have to score the minimum cutoff in the upcoming exam. The SBI PO Mains Syllabus is higher in difficulty than prelims. SBI PO Exam Pattern 2025

The SBI PO Exam will have three different stages: Prelims, Mains and Interview. Candidates have to score the minimum cutoff marks to get selected in each stage. Candidates must carefully go through the exam pattern which will help them to make the strategy for the upcoming exam.

There will be 3 papers in the SBI PO Prelims Exam. English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. The total time provided is 1 hour and there will be 100 questions. Check the exam pattern below.

• Sectional Time Limit: 20 minutes for each section
• Total Duration: 60 minutes (1 hour)

SBI PO Mains Exam Pattern 

Candidates who clear the first stage are now going to appear in the SBI PO Mains Exam. In the mains exam candidates have to attempt 4 papers Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness and  English Language. • Total Marks: 270 (Objective) + 50 (Descriptive)
• Total Duration: 180 Minutes (Objective) + 30 Minutes (Descriptive)

• Sectional Timing: Fixed as per subject (cannot switch before time ends)
• Marking Scheme: +1 mark for each correct answer (Objective); Descriptive test evaluated separately
• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for every wrong answer (Objective only, not for Descriptive)
