International day of Non-Violence Day is observed on 2nd October per year in the remember of Gandhi Jayanti, On this day Mahatma Gandhi was born. He was a good leader of the Indian Independence Movement and icon of very Indian. His Non-Violence and Philosophy are accepted by all people of the world.

on this day all Indian celebrate as Swachhata diwas. Famous and most popular leader and former prime minister of India “Lal Bahadur Shastri” was born on this day.


5th October – World Teachers Day

This day is very important for all teachers of the world. As in India National Teacher’s day falls on 5 September each year. but we are talking about an international teacher day. The Theme of World Teacher’s day 2018 is  “The right to education means the right to a qualified teacher,” This theme reveals that education means best and qualified teacher,

Because the teacher is the backbone of students career. So each teacher should be very qualified and well trained.


8th October – Indian Air Force Day

This day is very important in Indian history. because on this day Air Force was established. This day has been celebrated in India since 8th October 1932.


  10th October – World Mental Health Day

This day is most and very important for those who are suffering from this disease. World Mental Health Day is observed on 10 October every year, with the overall objective of raising awareness of mental health issues and mobilizing efforts in support of better mental health. We should care to the persons who are totally disturbed and their mind does not work properly.


11th October – International Day of Girls Child 

Since 11 October 2012 is known as International Day of Girls child. This important day is celebrated in worldwide not only in India but also worldwide. This day’s main theme is to give the good support and protection from illegal elements.


13th October – International Day for Disaster Reduction

International Day for Disaster Reduction is celebrated every year on this day the main theme of this day is to promote a global culture of risk-awareness and disaster reduction. People are trained how to reduce the disaster.


14th October – International Standard Day

Every year on 14 October, the members of the IEC, ISO and ITU celebrate World Standards Day, which is a means of paying tribute to the collaborative efforts of the thousands of experts worldwide who develop the voluntary technical agreements that are published as international standards.


15th October – International Day of Rural Women

This is noticed as the International Day of Rural Women. This is the main theme to spread the awareness about the Rural Women.


24th October – World Polio Day


2017 Theme: Potential in Diversity. UN Day marks the anniversary of the entry into force in 1945 of the UN Charter. With the ratification of this founding document by the majority of its signatories, including the five permanent members of the Security Council, the United Nations officially came into being.
World Polio Day was established by Rotary International over a decade ago to commemorate the birth of Jonas Salk, who led the first team to develop a vaccine against poliomyelitis. Polio is a crippling and potentially fatal infectious disease. There is no cure, but there are safe and effective vaccines.
