5th October – World Teachers Day

  10th October – World Mental Health Day

This day is most and very important for those who are suffering from this disease. 24th October – World Polio Day

 

2017 Theme: Potential in Diversity. UN Day marks the anniversary of the entry into force in 1945 of the UN Charter. World Polio Day was established by Rotary International over a decade ago to commemorate the birth of Jonas Salk, who led the first team to develop a vaccine against poliomyelitis. Polio is a crippling and potentially fatal infectious disease. There is no cure, but there are safe and effective vaccines.
